The Midtown/Downtown Crossing area is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the United States. Primary roots date back to the 17th century, but by the 19th century the area had become a retail center with the opening of the flagship store of Filene’s. Today, Millennium Tower stands where the once Beaux Arts building stood.
The Downtown and Midtown neighborhoods are full with offices and businesses and are evolving into residential areas as many new buildings are being erected. The ideal location close to The Back Bay, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, Financial District and a few blocks to the Boston Harbor make for a great location to live.
