Quincy is located on the south shore just minutes from downtown Boston. It is the 8th largest city in the state of Massachusetts and has been often known as “The City of Presidents” as it was the birthplace of two U.S. presidents both John Adams and John Quincy Adams.

Many different subsections makeup Quincy, all different is size and offerings. From secluded island like locations like Squantum, Marina Bay, Hough’s Neck or Germantown to the more urban location of Quincy Center along the Red Line T offering numerous retail establishments, there is something for everyone.

Quincy has a history for industry. At first, Quincy was home to a granite industry followed by the commercial railroad industry. Shipbuilding also has played a large part in what the town was noted for. In more recent years, Quincy was the founding town to both Howard Johnson’s as well as Dunkin Donuts.
